ISOLFIN will participate in the construction of the Brăila suspension bridge over the Danube river in Romania. With a total length of 1,975 meters and a main span of 1,120 meters, it is the world’s largest suspension bridge under construction and, once completed, it will be the third longest suspension bridge in Europe.
ISOLFIN participates in support of Fincantieri Infrastructure supplying services of painting and isolation. The facility will employ about 200 people for the construction and assembly of the 79 blocks of the steel deck, for a total of 20,000 tons. The entire project is being built at an estimated cost of € 433 million, cofinanced by the government of Romania and the European Union.
This project is highly strategic for the Eastern European sector and for ISOLFIN, it will be an important reference of the quality of our work that only few companies can boast.
