ISOLFIN in charge of the anticorrosion treatments of the wind farms of Fécamp and Saint-Nazaire (France)

Rome, March 26, 2021 – ISOLFIN, a leading company in the service sector for the main petrochemical, naval and global energy groups, is in charge of the anticorrosion treatments for the Rosetti Marino order for the construction of components for the wind farms of Fécamp and Saint-Nazaire (France).

The work will be carried out at the Piomboni shipyard in Ravenna, Italy, and will focus on the construction of the “jacket”-type foundation of the Fécamp offshore wind station, the park of which will consist of 71 turbines installed between 13 and 22 kilometers from the continent. The other works concern the anticorrosive preparation for the foundation intended for the Saint-Nazaire wind farm, composed of 80 turbines and located 12 km from the coast; operational in 2022, it will become the largest offshore wind farm in the world.

The projects were commissioned by EDF Renouvelables to Chantiers de l’Atlantique, which in turn selected the Italian company Rosetti Marino for the foundations. ISOLFIN has collaborated for years with Rosetti Marino providing its insulation and anticorrosion services.

For ISOLFIN, which already operates in the Saint-Nazaire shipyard, this is a new project in the renewable energy sector in the continuity of its policy of energy transition of its activities and its services focused on sustainability , also including the rehabilitation of polluting production sites.
